We are the Fisiología y Biotecnología de las plantas (FISIOVEGEN) research group from Universidad de León. 

Our research is focused on studying the role of plant  and microbe cell walls in different plant development processes, with special interests in plant defense responses against pathogens, and the study of agronomical traits related to crop yield. Moreover, we are interested in studying the synthesis and accumulation of different plant secondary metabolites with interest in food and agriculture industries.
